The PRO Polar thermal base layer shirt is a tight fitting but not compression. It does stretch to but does not squeeze on the body. It is cut longer in the sleeves and length to prevent the garment from exposing your skin in the cold. It features a slightly higher mock neck with a very forgiving four way stretch for a comfortable fit. The cold gear fabric wicks away sweat fast and traps dry, warm air next to your skin. Compare this to the Under Armour Cold Gear fabric 4.0 but slight heavier and warmer. The bottom line is this cold gear shirt is very soft, stretchy, comfortable, warm and keeps you dry for less and is made in the USA.

I ordered the thermal base layer shirt for the Michigan/Ohio Tough Mudder in April. And it worked great, I was able to keep warm even while soaking
wet in 40 degree weather. It's high quality, built to last, and way cheaper than under armor(but very much comparable). I will definitely look to Go
Athletic in the future.
